Güirros is a study of Latin American immigrants in New Orleans, specifically Honduran youth, who have fled the violence and unrest in their home cities-- many of them are under the age of 15, arrived unaccompanied, and experienced violence in their route to New Orleans.
New Orleans is home to the largest Honduran population in the United States.
